Color Elation Cosmetics began with jars of richly pigmented mineral eye shadows. These shades come in metallic shades, shimmers and mattes in cool, warm and neutral tones. Blend-able textures that melt into skin. And one jar of color rich shadow last! You only need the smallest amount. Here are three distinct looks to create.
1. Look 1 is a combination of navy and ocean blue that create a bold eye look. First, take our Loose Mineral Pigment in Indigo Black and work it into the inner and outer corner, creating a daring "V" shape in the center. Fill in with Loose Mineral Pigment in Pacific. Line in bold black. Finish with wispy top lashes and false bottom lashes. This look was finished with a sparkly lip decal in hot pink.
2. Look 2 is so easy but so full of impact! It uses two of our newest shades! First, apply Loose Mineral Pigment in Enigma to the outer corners, about the last third, creating a slight wing. This smoldering gun metal is the perfect smoky touch. Then, add La-De-Da, a playful kiwi shimmer to the remaining two thirds, blending where they meet. Add Enigma to the bottom lash line. Black or deep navy blue liner would be a stunning finish. Lashes with fullness on the outer sides compliment the look well.
3. This look is an homage to the beauty of Arabic inspired makeup. It uses only three shades. Create a gradient effect with Loose Mineral Pigment in Amethyst on the lids, blending well. Add Raspberry Jam to the crease, blending well where the colors meet. Lastly, apply White Satin toward the brow bone. This later color is to be used sparingly, layering gradually to achieve a soft glow. Apply the plum and pink shadows to your liking under the bottom and lash line and apply eye liner lavishly. A bold cat line is perfection with this look. So are the fullest, dramatic lashes! Let the eyes take center stage and keep the lip a simple pink, rose, or plum.

I love green! It is so fresh and unexpected. Especially when paired with teal, a delightful blend of green and blue. This look begins with Color Elation Loose Pigment in Lagoon applied on the middle and outer ends of the lids. Leave the inner lid open. Take Color Elation 5 Color Palette in Meadow. That middle shade is the most vibrant chartreuse. Apply that to the inner lid and around the tear duct.
The second shade from the left is a rich leafy green. Apply this to the lid and smoke the corners with the darkest green. To finish the top of the eye, apply the most dramatic black cat eye line with your favorite liquid or cream liner and apply the longest, fluffiest lashes. For the bottom, apply black pencil to the water line and a green pencil under the bottom lash line. Set that green pencil with the leafy green shadow for vibrancy and long wear. Generously apply mascara to the bottom lashes. I wanted the eyes to stand out so the blush and lips were kept neutral: Color Elation Pressed Blush in Rosy Brown and Liquid to Matte Lipstick in Naked.
I hope you enjoyed this look. Please leave a comment on your love of green. Thanks for joining me!
The quintessential neutral look. I paired this eye look with a nude cheek and lip, but you can go bold or bright and it would be awesome! I created a gradient effect with Color Elation 5 Color Eye Shadow Palette in Sterling. The frosted white was applied generously in the inner corner and around the tear duct. The silver shade (to the left of the white) is dazzling! That shade is applied on the lid with a dampened brush to bring out the metallic quality out even more. Next, I layered the last three grays from lighter to the very darkest in the outer corners and crease so the smoke smoulders the outer corners. Dark gray rims the bottom and the light gray under that to soften the line. A bold cat eye would work great, but I took the darkest black pencil and smudged the upper lid and bottom waterline. Lashes with fullness on the ends perfectly complimented the look. Color Elation Pressed Blush in Rosy Brown gives a soft, warm flush and Liquid to Matte Lipstick in Bombshell adds a soft pink lip.

If you have not tried the Halo Effect when applying eye shadow, do it soon. This technique places darker shades in the inner and outer corners and bridges them together in the crease and places a spotlight shade in the center lid. The effect creates a rounder, larger eye that is so flattering!
For this look, I took two of my favorite colors, purple and gold and finished the look with nude pink blush and lip color. Color Elation 5 Color Palette in Regal begins the look. Take the bright raspberry shade (in the center) and apply with a fluffy brush in the crease. There are two dark plums in the palette. The lighter of them was applied in the inner and outer crease, then layered with the darkest shade for gradual intensity. The center of the lid was left empty. For this area, a flat shading brush was dampened with mixing medium and dipped generously into the center shade of the Statuette palette. This bright gold was gently patted over the empty space. Reapply darker shades and gold as and if needed to create balance. Dark plum and raspberry are applied to the lower lash line. The darkest black liquid liner creates a bold cat eye. To let the eyes stand out, a subtle nude pink finishes the face: Color Elation Pressed Blush in Rosy Brown and Liquid to Matte Lipstick in Flirt.
