10/21/2017 0 Comments Purple and Gold Halo Effect If you have not tried the Halo Effect when applying eye shadow, do it soon. This technique places darker shades in the inner and outer corners and bridges them together in the crease and places a spotlight shade in the center lid. The effect creates a rounder, larger eye that is so flattering!
For this look, I took two of my favorite colors, purple and gold and finished the look with nude pink blush and lip color. Color Elation 5 Color Palette in Regal begins the look. Take the bright raspberry shade (in the center) and apply with a fluffy brush in the crease. There are two dark plums in the palette. The lighter of them was applied in the inner and outer crease, then layered with the darkest shade for gradual intensity. The center of the lid was left empty. For this area, a flat shading brush was dampened with mixing medium and dipped generously into the center shade of the Statuette palette. This bright gold was gently patted over the empty space. Reapply darker shades and gold as and if needed to create balance. Dark plum and raspberry are applied to the lower lash line. The darkest black liquid liner creates a bold cat eye. To let the eyes stand out, a subtle nude pink finishes the face: Color Elation Pressed Blush in Rosy Brown and Liquid to Matte Lipstick in Flirt. If you love these shades as much as I do, take advantage of this special offer. Save $10.00 when purchased in this special collection. And please comment and share your experience with the Halo Effect. Thanks for joining me and stay color elated! ,
